About Us

Vision Care is a global healthcare nonprofit dedicated to the prevention and curing of blindness.

Through our sight-restoring initiatives and global partnerships, we work to create equitable and self-sustainable eye care systems that are accessible to all. Our vision is that, together, we can see a brighter world.

Our Mission & Vision

Since 2002, Vision Care has been dedicated to the worldwide elimination of reversible causes of blindness.

As a registered member of the International Agency for Preventative Blindness (IAPB), we operate in alignment with the goals and mission set forth by the United Nations (UN) and World Health Organization (WHO) to end global vision loss.

Founded on the generous support of churches and missionaries throughout the world, Vision Care has developed a network of partners in 39 countries who share the mission to bring sight to the most under-resourced regardless of race, ethnicity, creed, gender or religion.

We envision a world where vision problems are prevented and treated. Many people lose sight due to poor conditions, but through partnerships with medical professionals, missionaries, and volunteers, Vision Care delivers care via short-term eye camps and long-term clinics to restore sight and improve lives.
